But I'm quite good at drawing on paper. I see that you have a n Yiynova DP10, and I really want you to tell me your thoughts on it, because I've watched and read some reviews and they say it's awful and there's a lot of people returning it! I don't know if I should get a Bamboo Create or Yiynova DP10! Please, help a bud out!!

I use a yiynova at home and a regular wacom tablet at work, both get the job done in my humble opinion

Hey! I was wondering why Great Warrior is just on tumblr and not like on its own website? I'm sure convenience is a factor, but I'm just thinking in terms of artist using advertisements to generate some income. I guess my other question is: are advertisements even worth it?

I live on a tight budget and can’t afford hosting or domain fees- and I don’t generate nearly enough readers to make any kind of profit from ads….

I don’t really care about that as much right now, I guess.

every night i try to do 10 mins from http://www.posemaniacs.com and then i’ll look at portrait flickr groups and draw 5 portraits- that in turn helps me when I am trying to come up with something on the spot- so BOTH!

I do not have a degree. I think that if you have one it opens more doors for you and offers more connections, which is very crucial in the creative field.

I work in Portland, it took a long long long time to find a design job that didn’t require a 4 year degree and then, at first, it was just an internship. I worked my booty off and the boss surprised me one day by asking if I wanted to work part-time. I got SUPEROMGLUCKY.

Someone somewhere in your town is designing things for local businesses, find out who they are! Convention centers, Theatre houses, the local paper, schools! Gotta dig deep!

I worked 5+ years at customer service jobs- it took me a long time to find my footing and i’m still just getting the hang of it~
